About Me
Hi, I’m Charlotte, lifelong thalassophile and jewellery lover. I grew up by (and on and under!) the sea in Devon and I now live on the coast in Hampshire with my partner and our rescue dog, Chief. Living so close to the sea gives me so much inspiration and whether it be walking the dog, collecting seaglass, doing beach cleans or sea swimming, you can often find me at the beach.
In 2021 I went to a seaglass ring workshop and never looked back. I have completed the Diploma in Silver Jewellery with Jewellers Academy in 2022/2023. Working with metals and adding colour with the seaglass brings me so much joy. Every piece of seaglass is unique, so with seaglass jewellery you really can never have the same as someone else!

I handmake my items as ethically as possible. I have a degree in Zoological Conservation, and I am acutely aware of our impact on the natural environment. I want Not Lost Jewellery to have as small of an impact as possible. I use recycled silver, recyclable and biodegradable postage boxes, business cards and earring cards. My jewellery is presented in cardboard jewellery boxes (including the insert), or raw, unbleached cotton pouches and I use 100% renewable energy. I will always keep working at improving my sustainability.

You can be sure when buying from Not Lost Jewellery that the piece has been made as sustainably as possible. In fact, we are ocean pollution negative as I am removing waste from the oceans (seaglass) to make jewellery and I am not contributing any waste back into the sea. I have ready-made items available for you to browse and I am always happy to discuss alterations or alternative designs.
